⚠️ Check Fault Codes Before Ordering
Codes such as C0327 (transfer case encoder motor), C0379 (transfer case shift actuator), or U0102 (lost communication with transfer case) often indicate a failed encoder motor or shift actuator — individual components costing $60–$200 — rather than a failed assembly. A $20 OBD-II scan can save you hundreds before you order a complete replacement unit.
🔧 Installation Note — Always Replace Output Seals
